The team:

We are a fast, tight-knit group of highly-experienced technical individuals, both in engineering and business experience. Our team has launched multiple startups, many of which have been purchased by Fortune 1000 - 100 companies. We have experience building everything from ETL engines to highly polished native mobile applications. We are a team that works hard, works fast, and expects great results.

The base salary range below represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Take2's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include commission, annual bonuses, Long Term Incentives, an open Paid Time Off policy, and many region-specific benefits.

Base Salary Range: $100,000 - $300,000 USD per year

Your job:

As a Director of Sales & Marketing, you would work with executive leadership to develop, implement, and execute cohesive, results-driven revenue pipelines. You would be responsible for developing sales quota commitments to executive leadership, and meeting or exceeding those quota commitments within 10%.

Initially, and as you develop an overall sales strategy, you will be originating and closing new sales. As your revenue pipeline proves to be successful, you will be responsible for hiring and developing a sales team.

In short, you will...

  • Build a results-driven revenue pipeline from origination to close
  • Have a willingness to get your hands dirty and sell at the start
  • Hire, train, and lead high performing remote sales teams
  • Partner with Leadership & Engineering to ensure high levels of client success
  • Work with Product and Engineering for pre-sales and solution creation based on key customer needs
  • Lead, inspire, and influence to make sure your team is successful
  • Establish great rapport with other development teams, Clients, Product Managers, and Customer Success to maintain high levels of visibility, efficiency, and collaboration
  • Manage and achieve OKR's and KPI's for the sales organization
About you:

You're an A Player with at least 7 years of selling software to key organizational stakeholders (C-Suite, etc) who is looking for an opportunity to shape the future of a young, but profitable organization. You love the "chase" of sales and feel like you could find a customer and sell them on almost anything. You're technical, and you like to take calculated risks based on previous experience and feel accountable for the outcome. You like to base discussions on the merits of data as opposed to personal bias. You enjoy leading teams, are always looking to level up their capabilities, both individually and as a group, and care deeply about their well-being. You like to coach individuals and leaders and help them accomplish their own career goals. You are highly organized, self-motivated, and consistent in your calendar and appointments.

Job Requirements
  • 7+ years in software sales, selling to key stakeholders (C-Suite)
  • Strong experience developing revenue pipelines, with some focus on origination, lead / demand generation
  • Strong experience with B2B software sales in a variety of verticals
  • Experience leading geographically distributed teams
  • Technical background that allows you to communicate value for potential clients
  • Experience building strong partnerships with other job functions to keep teams collaborating smoothly and working together towards growth.
